Frequently asked questions

+What grants does PANDA cover?

We track 500+ scholarships across CSC (Chinese Government Scholarship), CUCAS, Confucius Institute, provincial governments, and individual universities — 289 universities in total.

+Can PANDA submit applications on my behalf?

For CUCAS and most university portals, yes — full automation. For CSC, intermediaries are prohibited from submitting, so PANDA fills the entire form and you click Submit yourself.

+How accurate is the matching?

89% match accuracy on historical accepted applications. We use Claude API + semantic search across your profile and 500+ grant requirements.

+Do I need to know Chinese?

No. Many CSC and university programs are taught in English. PANDA tracks language requirements per grant and can generate both English and Chinese versions of your study plan and cover letter.

+What documents do I need?

Passport, most recent transcript, degree certificate (or expected graduation letter), language certificate (HSK / IELTS / TOEFL if you have one), and 2 recommendation letters. PANDA's OCR validates each.

+Is there a free trial?

Profile building, grant matching, and dashboard exploration are free. You pay only when you start an application.

+What if my application gets rejected?

We share aggregated success rates per university so you can apply broadly. Most students who submit 3+ applications via PANDA get into at least one.

+How is my data handled?

Documents are stored in AWS S3 with SSE-KMS encryption. We never sell data. You can delete your account and all documents at any time from Settings.

+Can agencies use PANDA?

Yes — the Agency plans give you a CRM with white-label branding, bulk import, analytics, and team seats. See pricing.
